Raimel Tapia displays his power in 2-4 day

The Isotopes lost last night's back-and-forth slugfest. Tim Smalling, Tim Wheeler, Cristhian Adames, and Tommy Murphy all homered. Murphy's homer was part of a 3-4 day that raised his Triple-A line to .300/.314/.516. Murphy has been a free-swinger sing joining the Isotopes. He only has one walk in 51 plate appearances. But his past walk rates suggest that he should improve in that area over time.

There weren't many highlights from the pitching side last night, though Rex Brothers did pitch a scoreless inning. He struck out two and walked one.

Double-A New Britain (53-59)

In another high scoring game, the Rock Cats put up six runs on 14 hits in defeat yesterday.
