The Colorado Rockies Double-A affiliate announced on Wednesday they will officially be moving out of New Britain to Hartford, Connecticut and changing their name to the Yard Goats in 2016. The team will move into Dunkin Donuts Park, a new baseball facility being built at a cost of $56 million and part of a $350 million revitalization project in the downtown Hartford area.
The logo and name change has been embraced by many fans and players, including Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who showed off his new cap this week.
