DENVER -- Home-plate umpire and crew chief Kerwin Danley left Wednesday night's Mets-Rockies game in the fourth inning when a pitch from Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood hit him on the left arm.
Chatwood, pitching with a 5-0 lead, threw a 2-1 pitch to the Mets' Michael Conforto that bounced well before the plate and went over the right shoulder of catcher Ryan Hanigan.
