LOS ANGELES — Nolan Arenado got some home cooking and some fatherly advice, and the Dodgers paid the price.
The Rockies’ star third baseman smashed two home runs through the heavy night air at Dodger Stadium Tuesday, leading the Rockies to a 4-3 victory. The Rockies have won four of five on their six-game West Coast trip to improve to 10-5.
The victory also snapped Colorado’s seven-game losing streak at Dodger Stadium.
“I hit them pretty good,” Arenado said, then quickly added, “I have to give credit to my dad and my high school coach.
