Nolan Arenado is entering the final week of his assault on the rest of the National League.
The Colorado Rockies’ third baseman has emerged as a possible—perhaps, depending on who you ask, even probable—MVP candidate as a result of good, timely hitting and his usual brand of out-of-this-world defense. Arenado’s value has been fully on display this month; the superstar is hitting .307/.429/.547 through 23 games in September, helping to carry the Rockies to a multi-game lead over the two closest teams behind them in the Wild Card standings.
To show our support for the best third baseman in baseball, we teamed up with MLBPA and Breaking T to bring attention to Nolan’s new and tremendously fitting nickname.
