A seventh-inning home run by Neil Walker snapped the Rockies’ five-game winning streak.
A three-run, seventh-inning home run by Mets second baseman Neil Walker snapped the Rockies five-game winning streak as they dropped a 6-4 decision in the series finale at Citi Field.
Walker’s home run came on an 0-1 count from Rockies reliever Boone Logan, who had walked Alejandro De Aza and James Loney earlier in the inning.
The loss spoiled another solid outing from Rockies starter Chad Bettis, who put together the team’s 20th quality start of July, a franchise record for a month.
