The Colorado Rockies saw their four-game winning streak snapped by a trio of Mets home runs and an outstanding start from right-hander Marcus Stroman in a 6-1 loss on Tuesday.
Stroman brought his ‘A’ game to Coors Field on Tuesday night, pitching seven shutout innings, allowing four hits, all singles, and a walk with seven strikeouts on the night.
The Rockies lone run came with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, when Charlie Blackmon hit is 29th home run of the season, a moon shot to the third deck right against Mets reliever Luis Avilan.
