New Britain goes 6-1 in first home stand

Culminating with a 10-8 comeback victory against the Portland Seadogs Wednesday afternoon, the Rock Cats completed their first home stand winning six of seven games in New Britain. After a rough stretch to start the season in the chilly north against New Hampshire and Portland, the Cats showed success in their first two series at home slugging past their opponents and scoring 36 runs.
