The splits are shocking, and Mike Dunn knows it. But the Rockies’ left-handed reliever believes the worst is behind him.
He pitched a one-two-three inning Tuesday night in an 11-3 win over Cleveland and said he’s ready to be a bridge to closer Greg Holland if called upon.
“Last night, I was executing my pitches again and that put me in a good place,” Dunn said Wednesday. “I think (the Rockies) have confidence in me and what I can do late in games. But (Jake) McGee and Chris (Rusin) have also been throwing the ball really well.
