Well, at least it wasn't a dozen plus run blowout, though it looked like it might be at the beginning. David Hale began the game extremely shaky. He couldn't find the strike zone, as balls sailed high and low. He threw four wild pitches, which brought out sundry fun and forgettable facts about wild pitches. Somehow, Hale's day wasn't exactly awful. He allowed five runs on six hits in six innings pitched. He walked two, hit a batter, and struck out nine.
