Triple-A Albuquerque’s rotation has fully, and officially, come to Denver.
With Tuesday’s promotion of Rico Garcia to start against the Red Sox at Coors Field, Colorado’s rotation now looks wholly different than it did on opening day. The quartet of Garcia, Peter Lambert, Chi Chi Gonzalez and Antonio Senzatela were all in the minor leagues to begin 2019, while Tim Melville started the season in an independent league.
Only Senzatela, who began the season on the injured list with a heel injury, was expected to be in Colorado’s rotation this year.
