Mariners 6, Rockies 4: M’s avoid sweep, win on the back of Ryon Healy

It was one of those can’t really be made losses. The Rockies missed out on sweeping a good team on the road, and it means they’ve won five of their last six games and aren’t on a six-game winning streak. Not only that, but the Rockies got six pretty good innings from a player who may end up just being a temporary starter, Antonio Senzatela, and saw some good bullpen work from Chris Rusin and Jake McGee. The Rockies lost and fell to 46-44, and I feel fine.

It’s not like Ryon Healy’s an anonymous player, but when a team plays inter-league and gets bitten by a perfectly average player, the response is naturally: Who has even ever heard of that guy?
