With yet another early playoff exit, the Dodgers will need to try and find a new approach to building a championship team.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have won the NL West division title for three straight years, but they're finally starting to lose their grip on the division as they were yet again eliminated before reaching the playoffs. Don Mattingly, the Dodgers manager, was let ago on Thursday after yet another disappointing finish from the team with the highest payroll in baseball. On top of that, Zack Greinke, the NL ERA leader, opted out of his contract and it's yet to be seen if the Dodgers are going to bring him back.
