Gerardo Parra plays an accordion in the Rockies' clubhouse because a piano won't fit in his locker. In Spanish, it's an acordeón. He breathes it out and heaves it in, one off note at a time. Parra loves that sound. To him, everything coming out sounds like angels singing.
"He's a weirdo," teammate Carlos Gonzalez said. "I guess if you're winning, you can do funny things like that and everything is funny."
The Rockies are winning.
