Kyle Freeland has not had the best 2019. After a phenomenal performance in the 2018 season, he lagged in the new year, needing to spend some time in Triple-A to get himself back on track. He’s now back with the Rockies and has been doing pretty well, showing how hard he’s worked to earn his spot back. He credits this kind of work ethic to his father, who taught him to give the things he did 100%. He tries to extend this mindset to his teammates, encouraging them right before taking the field. Freeland wants to win, and he wants his team to feel the same way.
