The Colorado Rockies clinched their first home series victory with a win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night in Denver.
Jorge De La Rosa led the way with seven innings of two run ball — including a no-hitter that went into the fifth inning — and a timely Nolan Arenado home run help the Colorado Rockies clinch the game and the series with a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.
De La Rosa earned his 72nd win as a member of the Rockies, which ties Aaron Cook for a franchise record, and his solid start kept the Rockies in the game after he left following the top of the seventh inning.
