After leading the Rockies to a 9-1 win over the Dodgers on Monday, starting pitcher Jon Gray has now accomplished something no other player in the franchise has done: Win 10 games in four straight seasons.
The 27-year-old right-hander improved to 10-7 in 2019, reaching double-digit wins for the fourth consecutive season. His 42 wins are good for seventh all-time in team history.
Only Jorge De La Rosa, who leads the franchise with 86 wins, has won 10-plus games in four different seasons. Jeff Francis (64 wins), Jason Jennings (58), Ubaldo Jimenez (56) and Pedro Astacio (53) reached the victory mark in three consecutive years with Colorado.
