SAN DIEGO — As the Rockies search for their collective team identity amid a rocky first three weeks, Jon Gray is feeling more relaxed than ever.
The pretext to the right-hander’s contentment is his disappointing 2018 season when Gray had a 5.12 ERA in 31 starts and was demoted to Triple-A at mid-season in an attempt to regain his confidence.
So, as Gray explained, there’s nowhere to go but up this season.
“Some of last year was me at my low, low, low point, so I don’t have anything to fear right now,” Gray said.
