Jhoulys Chacin realized his baseball dreams on July 25, 2009, in his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies.
Fast forward to this week at Coors Field. Chacin wore a permanent smile as he celebrated 10 total years of major-league service, thankfully, back in the place where it all began. The Rockies gave him a cake last week to commemorate the milestone.
“This is cool. Not too many guys who play in the big leagues reach 10 years,” Chacin told The Denver Post on Wednesday. “I’m super happy that it happened to be here. My first day in the big leagues was here.
