With Yasmani Grandal signing with the Brewers, the Rockies lost out on what would have been a good pick up behind the plate. It’s also tough to see him go to a division rival who will likely put up a good fight again this season. While we might have hoped to see a signing like this, it’s not likely that we will. The budget has pretty much been maxed out with the Daniel Murphy signing and holding out for Nolan Arenado. It’s tough to use our hindsight and look at deals in the past that haven’t exactly panned out.
