The Rockies got swept by the Dodgers in a major way, with Sunday’s loss a dreadful 12-6. While it is early days still, the injuries are really starting to devastate the team. With Daniel Murphy and Ryan McMahon on the IL, and then David Dahl leaving Sunday’s game early, and Trevor Story getting hit by a nasty pitch, the Rockies could be in some trouble. They’re quickly losing a lot of hitting power, and they don’t quite have the depth to make up for it. Starting pitching remains a bit of an issue, with the exceptions of Kyle Freeland and German Marquez.
