Harper, Machado still on the table. The market’s continued slowness for a second straight winter is directly correlated with the still-unsettled courtship of the offseason’s two biggest free agents, 26-year-old stars Bryce Harper and Manny Machado. For Harper, a return to Washington could certainly still be in the cards, although the Phillies seem to be the favorite.
