Larry Walker is slowly but surely working toward a possible induction to the Hall of Fame. Walker finished his career with 383 home runs, 1,311 RBIs, 230 stolen bases, and seven Gold Gloves. This is nothing to scoff at, a truly impressive career. However, one big thing standing in his way is the smaller number of games played. Health issues got in his way, and he played in fewer games than many on the ballot. He has been steadily making his way, though, and it’s certainly looking like he might be able to make it in during his final year on the ballot.
