If you didn’t know, the minor league regular seasons have concluded for some of the Rockies affiliates. Since it can be hard to follow the Double-A team from Colorado, we have a quick update for you. The Hartford Yard Goats ended their inaugural season on Monday. Here are some of the major storylines from the season in review.
Road Goats
The Yard Goats were expected to play their home games at Dunkin’ Donuts Park in downtown Hartford. However, many issues with construction prevented this from happening. Initially, the park was expected to be finished in time for opening day on April 7, but this date was pushed back by over a month with the intention of being completed by May 24.
