The Isotopes took a two run lead in the third inning and didn't look back. They gave up a run in the fourth but got that one back in the eighth for the 3-1 victory. Matt McBride drove in one of the Isotopes' three runs and No. 16 PuRP Ryan Casteel the other two. Starter Leuris Gomez went four innings and gave up the lone run; he struck out eight in his four innings. Chris Rusin, Justin Miller, and Jairo Diaz shut out Sacramento from the fifth inning on.
