The Grand Junction Rockies are on a roll, advancing to the Pioneer League Championship Series for the first time in their history. Fittingly, they beat the Ogden Raptors — the Dodgers’ rookie affiliate — to advance. Just like a lot of Rockies-Dodgers games, it was a little nerve wracking but the Rockies pulled it out. They scored all six of their runs in the first two innings, but the Raptors clawed back — scoring two in the third, one in the fifth, and two in the sixth before being ultimately shut down by the tandem of Colton Harlow, Aneudy Duarte, and Alexander Martinez in the final three innings.
