Not that anyone inside the Grading the Week offices was particularly surprised. As we’ve come to learn during our time in the Centennial State, such is the way for Colorado’s MLB franchise.
With the Avs atop the NHL standings, the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic submitting masterpieces on a nightly basis, and the previously boring Broncos trading for a superstar quarterback, leave it to the Rockies to briefly steal the spotlight by firing an analytics department head they’d hired just five months earlier.
