The Rockies have made some significant changes in their minor-league staffs.
Longtime Triple-A manager Glenallen Hill and two other minor-league coaches will not be returning to the organization in 2020, assistant general manager of player development Zach Wilson confirmed Wednesday.
Hill has been a key figure in the organization since 2004 and was the Triple-A manager for seven seasons at both Albuquerque and Colorado Springs. Hill served as a coach with the Rockies from 2007-12.
Also not returning are Double-A Hartford hitting coach Lee Stevens and low-A Asheville hitting coach Norberto “Paco” Martin.
Wilson would not elaborate, saying only that the three men “are not returning next year.
