After last night’s 16-inning win, the Rockies were unable to capitalize and went quietly into the San Francisco night. They were held scoreless until the seventh inning, when a double error allowed Josh Fuentes to score.
No clutch hits tonight
The Rockies had lead off baserunners in four of the first five innings, and seven out of the nine total innings. However, they went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position. The run they scored came in the seventh when a few different things happened.
Josh Fuentes hit a single to lead off the inning.
