The bitter cold kept fans away during the Colorado Rockies’ Wednesday night game with the Philadelphia Phillies. (Come on, seriously? It’s the second half of May. Can the sun come out already?)
The cold – or maybe Severino Gonzalez – also kept the Rockies’ bats away during the game, and a tough start by Eddie Butler turned into a dud of a game for the Rox, who are sliding fast against the lowly Phils, now having lost two of three with the fourth game in their series set for Thursday afternoon.
