There is no gentle way to say it, but the Colorado Rockies offense has been awful. Despite some solid performances to begin the year from the likes of Ezequiel Tovar, Brenton Doyle, Ryan McMahon and Elias Díaz, the unit as a whole has struggled in many areas and fallen well short of expectations. Even those off to strong starts are still struggling with specific things that can be traced throughout the lineup. There are a myriad of issues plaguing the team that we can (and probably will) continue to write about here at Purple Row but today we’ll focus on just one frustrating aspect: foul balls.
