The Colorado Rockies are sending starting pitcher Eddie Butler down to Triple-A Albuquerque and are calling up first baseman/outfielder Kyle Parker, according to a team source Tuesday.
"I've been feeling good at the plate, it's nice when things are going well," Parker said. "I'm going to take the same approach I had down there."
Butler, 24, has a 3-6 record this season with a 4.80 ERA, 30 walks and 29 strikeouts in 54 u2153 innings.
