SEATTLE -- The Rockies announced a series of roster moves ahead of Saturday's game against the Mariners, recalling left-handed hitting first baseman-outfielder Jordan Patters and lefty reliever Jerry Vasto from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday, who took the roster spots of catcher Tom Murphy, who is on paternity leave, and lefty reliever Mike Dunn, who was placed on the 10-day disabled list relating to pain in his left A/C joint.
Murphy, hitting .313 with six doubles and seven RBIs since being called up from Albuquerque June 12, left the team before Friday's 7-1 victory over the Mariners to be with his wife, Lindsay, who was set to give birth in Denver.
