The Colorado Rockies are all too familiar with inclement and unpredictable weather playing in Denver. This week alone, they've already been forced to postpone two games against the Arizona Diamondbacks, resulting in a doubleheader on Wednesday. Had they been scheduled to play Thursday, that likely would have made it three postponements in four days.
Things weren't looking too promising on Friday night either with the start of their scheduled game against the Los Angeles Dodgers delayed by over an hour because of rain. However, at least the Dodgers came prepared to the pass time.
Shortly before the first pitch was scheduled to be thrown, the Dodgers issued a challenge to the Rockies for a friendly game of tic-tac-toe, which was quickly accepted.
