Tonight was an exciting one! Not only did the Colorado Rockies score, but they also hit a home run! They also got to 10 home runs on the season, so overall it was a better hitting day.
Unfortunately, though, the pitching struggled again and the Rockies ended up losing 5-3.
Senza struggles early
Antonio Senzatela was not sharp tonight. After giving up a leadoff single to Shohei Ohtani, Senzatela gave up a first-pitch home run to Mookie Betts to put the Dodgers up 2-0 early. He then gave up a single to Freddie Freeman, before getting Will Smith to fly out to right and inducing a 3-6-3 double play to Michael Conforto.
