Dodgers 10, Rockies 6: Rox lose home opener to division rival

The first game at Coors Field in 2019 was a bit of a clunker. The Rockies fell to the Dodgers 10-6, and it didn’t even feel that close. Tyler Anderson didn’t have a good start, and a lot of the offensive woes seemed to have traveled from Florida to Colorado along with the team.

Two starters, two tales

It wasn’t Tyler Anderson’s day, as he pitched 4+ innings and gave up six runs on nine hits. That makes two weak starts for Anderson in 2019. It’s way, way too early to draw too many conclusions about Anderson, but it doesn’t allay my worry that the bottom of the rotation could end being a serious liability for the Rockies, at least given the current personnel.
