For a moment, it felt like the Rockies were going to win their third consecutive game against the Dodgers and take three out of four games against the best team in baseball. But the bullpen faltered, the defense failed to convert a couple of key double plays, and the offense couldn’t keep up with the Dodgers’ bats. The Dodgers ultimately won 10-5, leading to a four game split in Colorado. The Rockies season record now stands at 44-40.
