The Colorado Rockies dropped their first home game since August 4th to end a nine game winning streak at home. Sloppy and inefficient pitching combined with an offense that was missing in action for most of the game led to a 8-4 loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A dull gray
Jon Gray started the game for the Rockies, looking to rebound after two less than stellar outings. Unfortunately his woes continued this afternoon against the DBacks. Gray struggled with efficiency and failed to hit his locations well. He got burned for five earned runs on six hits and three walks, including a home run.
