Apparently Kyle Parker has decided that if he wants a major league future he will need to hit his way there, as he had his fifth multi-hit game in his last ten chances, hitting his fifth home run of the season and inching his overall line towards respectability.
David Hale no doubt appreciated the run support, as he followed up his strong start for Colorado with an incredibly similar seven inning, six hit, no walk, two earned run performance for Albuquerque. In the "this is why your here" department, Drew Stubbs was 0-4 with four strikeouts, while Rex Brothers walked two and struck out none in his one third inning of work.
