It was a day of lopsided results within the Colorado Rockies’ farm system on Thursday. Among the not-so-good results, the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats lost 10-0, the Short-Season A Boise Hawks lost 17-2, and the Low-A Asheville Tourists were no hit in a 5-1 loss. On the better side of things, the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes took home a 16-1 win, aided in part by a David Dahl home run in the first game of his rehab assignment.
Though he played only two innings and had just one plate appearance as he eases his way back into game action, Dahl made the most of it by taking former Rockie Jordan Lyles deep in that one plate appearance.
