DENVER -- The Rockies came into Friday's game against the Nationals able to clinch a second straight postseason berth with a victory. They got off to a good start by clobbering four home runs through the first six innings.
Charlie Blackmon, who has been a quiet offensive leader for the Rockies of late, lined Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross's 1-2 slider just over the left-field fence for his 28th home run this season in the third.
