SAN DIEGO -- The Rockies turned Petco Park into Muscle Beach by slugging three home runs en route to beating the Padres, 6-4, on Monday night.
Colorado's Daniel Castro, Noel Cuevas and Gerardo Parra all went yard as the Rockies kicked off a three-city, nine-game road trip with a win. For Cuevas, it was his first long fly in the Majors.
Lefty Tyler Anderson (3-1) allowed four runs (three earned), seven hits and a walk, with a strikeout, over 5 2/3 innings.
