In a battle of the immovable object versus the unstoppable force, the Chicago Cubs, losers of a franchise record 13 straight games at home, welcomed the Colorado Rockies and their MLB-worst 14 road wins. Ultimately the Cubs prevailed, winning 6-4 on a walk-off home run from Rafael Ortega.
Senzatela solid again
Continuing a recent trend, Antonio Senzatela threw well but the rest of the Rockies weren’t able to close it out. He allowed one run on four hits over six innings, while striking out six and walking two. This was his third straight quality start, but also his tenth straight winless start.
