Which players on the Seattle Mariners would be beneficial for the Colorado Rockies? | Rox Pile
Seattle Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto is at it again. Two big trades were officially announced on Monday, with the Mariners sending Robinson Canó and Edwin Diaz to the New York Mets and Jean Segura, Juan Nicaso and James Pazos to the Philadelphia Phillies. Since being made GM of the Mariners towards the end of the 2015 season, Dipoto has made more trades than any other executive. While the goal of Dipoto’s winter trades has usually been to make his team more competitive for the following season, it’s clear that this offseason’s transactions are intended to kick off a process of retooling the roster.
