Corey Dickerson moved back to the Rockies' DL with left foot injury

Corey Dickerson tried, but he couldn't play like himself. A continuing case of inflammation in his left foot forced the Rockies to move the left fielder back to the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.

"I tried to be me," said Dickerson, who returned to Colorado's lineup last week trying to play through plantar fasciitis.

Dickerson's swing was fine — he doubled and singled in his first game back. But pain in his foot forced him to play at less than full speed and he was removed from the sixth inning Saturday at Miami.
