The Rockies' clubhouse was a hectic place Sunday night.
Clubbies were storing uniforms, bats and cleats into wheeled crates. Players were packing their clothes and personal belongings. There wasn't much time to celebrate a three-game sweep of the New York Mets. The Rockies had a chartered plane to St. Louis waiting for them.
Amid the hubbub, second basemen DJ LeMahieu spoke about a challenging road trip that begins Tuesday night with a three-game series against the Cardinals.
"The way we have played on the road so far helps," LeMahieu said, noting Colorado's 11-8 record.
