Comeback goes for naught in loss to D-backs

PHOENIX -- The D-backs blew a five-run lead and allowed the Rockies to take a three-run lead by the sixth inning on Monday night. Yasmany Tomas made sure that wouldn't last, however, as the Arizona right fielder clubbed a go-ahead grand slam in a 12-9 win in the series-opening slugfest at Chase Field.

Tomas' first career grand slam was also his fourth hit of the night, matching his career high for the second time. He also had four hits against Colorado on June 24, 2015. Tomas finished with five RBIs.

Kyle Jensen drove in three runs and Brandon Drury collected four hits, including a home run, for Arizona, which snapped a six-game losing streak.
