Colorado Rockies infielder Brendan Rodgers went 1-for-3 on Saturday night to extend his hitting streak to 14 games. However, whether Rodgers would extend his streak or not wasn’t the biggest concern Rockies fans had about him on a smoke-filled night in LoDo.
Batting in the bottom of the sixth inning, Rodgers was hit in the right hand on an 0-1 pitch by Miami Marlins reliever Zach Pop.
