Maury Brown of Forbes recently released the regional TV networks ratings for the entire 2019 season and there was plenty of interesting information.
While overall TV ratings were up slightly up (by two percent) in Major League Baseball in 2019, the Colorado Rockies TV ratings did not contribute to the slight spike. The Colorado Rockies TV ratings dropped 18 percent in 2019, which is among one of the steepest drops among the 30 MLB teams.
The teams that had worse declines than the Rockies were the Texas Rangers (35 percent), Seattle Mariners (33 percent), Arizona Diamondbacks (27 percent), San Francisco Giants (24 percent), Boston Red Sox (22 percent), and the Miami Marlins (19 percent).
