Rockies All Star shortstop Trevor Story left Monday’s game with what was called “elbow soreness” in the sixth inning.
After the game, Story spoke with the media there at Dodger Stadium on how the injury occurred (h/t the Rockies PR team).
“[I] dove for the ball [in the first inning and my] elbow [became] a little tight. I just tried to play through it [but] when I swung through that pitch [in the fourth inning that] extended my arm, I felt it a little more. [Coming out of the game was] just being cautious. We’ll find out more about it tomorrow.
